What has happened to the railway is to date history and has been moved to the history pages.. The development during 2017 was hectic and was documented primarily on my facebook site @Mangskoggardenrailway. I shall now, after the fact, try to document what happened during 2017 and 2018.
For my continued plans for garden and railway a fence to keep wildlife out has always been in the plans. Moose and deer eats my plants and I believe I have had a rail bent by a moose threading on it. As always I did not plan too big but only for a small gate at the entrance and a bigger in the other end to be able to get in with bigger construction machines. Said and done and I started with the small gate, that as usual soon became something a bit bigger.
It became a pergola with room for chairs to enjoy the view and sliding doors to give a wider entrance without having to leave space for folding doors.

The winter has been dedicated to some construction work but primarily to finalize my WiFi based locomotive control. Wireless control is a prerequisite for conversion to battery operation. More details about the project can be found under "NTJ WI-FI".
With the fence in place we could start planting roses. This one we hope will make the winters and grow big on the pergola.
